Our Equine Staff
Our program wouldn't be possible without our superb equine staff. Horses accepted into our program need to be smart, patient, gentle and love to work with our riders and volunteers. Without a doubt we are blessed with a wonderful bunch of equine therapists.
Sir
Ivanhoe "Ivan"
A Dapple Gray Registered Quarter Horse Gelding, Ivan is a retired
show horse and one of the first FTGU horses. Ivan is a little boy in
a big horse's body!

the Hard Way "Sierra"
A Sorrel Appendix Quarter Horse Mare, Sierra loves her job and is an
extremely intuitive and sensitive therapist! She is the "princess"
of the stable.
Sweet
Gingerly Girl "Ginger"
A Chestnut half Arab and half Quarter Horse Mare, Ginger is full of
style and spunk. She is "a Mare with Flare!"
Lucky's
Nifty Star "Lucky"
Lucky is a Registered Paint Gelding whose gentle gaits and western
training make him a delight to ride and work with. You can't help
falling in love with him!
Tina
Turner "Tina"
Tina is a Fjord Mare who is super sweet and loves to talk! Her wild
black and blonde mane earned her the name Tina Turner.
Mike
Mike is a Haflinger Gelding and Ivan's best friend. Mike is
mischievous and quick to learn new things. He is fun to work with
and eager to please!
