Adopt-A-Rider Sessions run from April through November. A donation of $350 provides a scholarship for a rider to participate in 10 sessions. Fewer sessions may be also be donated. FTGU’s goal is to never turn away a participant due to an inability to pay.

Adopt-A-Horse Help us care for our equine therapists by sponsoring a horse for full or partial care. A donation of $400 will provide full care (including feed, medications/ supplements and veterinary & farrier care) for one horse for one month.

Fundraisers Sponsor or host a fundraising event. Past events include dinners & BBQ’s, run/walk races, trail rides/trail trials, raffles, lotteries, silent auctions, bottle collections and more!

Annual Independence Open Horseshow for Riders of All Abilities Our horseshow class schedule offers opportunities for riders of all levels and experience and is the only horseshow of its kind in Central New York. In-kind Donations A large variety of in-kind donations are welcome including new or gently used equipment and supplies as well as professional services (i.e. legal, accounting, advertising, promotional/marketing, and computer expertise).
